Beautiful Wat Rong Khun
Wat Rong Khun is a world famous beautiful temple in the world. Wat rong khun is a wander Buddhist temple in chiang rai. Wat rong khun is popularly known as the white temple of chiang rai on account of its pure whiteness. Wat rong khun the temple was the brainchild of famous thei artist chalermchai kositpipat, whose 
 patrons included big king bhumibol adulyadej. Work on beauty wat rong khun began in1998,and wat rong khun is expected to be completed in2008. beautiful wat rong khun is very very different from most other Buddhist temples because wat rong khun is very whiteness which seems to cover everything. Wat rong khun is chalermchai kositpoipat used whiteness to symbolize Buddha’s purity. White glass is also used, to

symbolize Buddha’s wisdom as it shrines over all the world. Temple inside wat rong khun are murals which are mot white, but rather, given must golden tones. These murals carry the theme of escape from temptation a common Buddhist motif, to reach a superabundance state. On of the roof are sculptures of four different beasts, the elephant symbolizing world, the nag a symbolizing water falls, the lion mane represent fire.

Chalermchai kositpipat built the big temple at his own espense as a gesture of merit, a common act in Buddhism temples. As at time of writing march 2012 Wat Rong Khum was was still under construction. When complete it would comprise nine buildings.

Construction   
      The beautiful Wat Rong Khun is different form any other temple in Thailand, Wat Rong is designed in white color with some use of white glass. Wat Rong khun is white color stands for lord Buddha’s purity, the white glass stands for Lord Buddha’s wisdom that (shines brightly all over the Earth and world, the universe).

The bridge leading to the beautiful temple represents the crossing over form the cycle of rebirth to the Abode of Buddha. The little semicircle before the bridge stands for the human earth. The big circle with fangs is the mouth of  rahu , meaning impurities in the our mind, a representation of hell or suffering. All of  the paintings inside the ubosot ‘assembly halls’ have golden tones. The four walls ceiling and floor contain paintings showing an escape from the defilements of temple to reach a supramundane state. On the roof, there are four kinds of animals representing world, water, wind and fire. The elephant stands for the world, the naga 
 stands for water, the swans wings represent wind and the lion mane represents fire. Visitors will find it rather bizarre to find modern photo throughout this temple. Photo of the predator from the Hollywood supper man, spider man, iron man, bat man, Keanu reves character in the rocket ships, etc. The supper sea of hands rising up towards the bridge to the temple some holding skulls are very striking. In 1997, chalermchai 

kositpipat volunteered his service to carry to carry out the construction of the ubosot at his own espense as on offering to lord Buddha, but he later altered the planning as he saw fit in such a way that wat rong khun developed in to a prominent site attracting both thai and foreign many visitors. Nowadays wat rong khun is still being constructer. When completed the construction project of wat rong khun will consist of nine building. The ubosot, the hall containing lord Buddha relics the hall containing Buddha photo the preaching hall the contemplation hall the monkey’s cell the door façade of the buddhavsa the art gallery and the toilets.
